Overview
PrizeFlex is Push Gaming's supplier-agnostic jackpot platform, enabling operators to overlay a side bet jackpot mechanic on top of any studio game. Highly configurable for the operator, highly engaging for the player.
The Problem
Most jackpot products have been traditionally tied to a single supplier's portfolio of games which has limitations for the operator, in addition some players don't like to play traditional jackpot games as an allocation of the RTP is taken from the game for jackpots. Operators want a jackpot engine they can apply across their existing catalogue of games from any studio with control over payout and no additional integration required.
The Approach
Following the acquisition of Push Gaming by LeoVegas Group, they asked if we could build a jackpot product for them to replace their existing supplier's solution. I met with the Jackpots Product Owner at LeoVegas to understand the as-is and desired to-be as they wanted improvements such as new maths models and win logic.
- Produced a gap analysis detailing the system requirements between LeoVegas current platform and the new software
- Held sessions with our platform team so they understood the requirements resulting in a technical design document being created
- Held a kick off meeting with relevant stakeholders including those from compliance and legal teams to walk them through the request and product strategy, obtaining sign off to proceed with development
- Onboarded a Jackpots Product Owner to drive development
- Helped co-ordinate the migration of LeoVegas existing supplier to PrizeFlex across all LeoVegas brands
- Collaborated with our UX/UI Lead to create the PrizeFlex website
The Solution
When a player loads a game which has jackpot configured on from the operator lobby they are informed with the T&C's about the jackpot and have an option to opt in. When the player opts in and does a spin in a game the stake is handled by the operator as-is and a secondary deduction from the wallet is taken for the jackpot contribution through PrizeFlex. When a jackpot win is awarded PrizeFlex passes the information in a win response, the operator then handles payout and display of win animation overlaying the game.
There is no change to any game's maths or RTP, the PrizeFlex jackpot has its own RTP configured by the operator.
- Push Gaming hosted jackpot engine and RNG to determine winner
- Win logic for value based and time based jackpots
- Various maths models made available for the operator from Push Gaming maths team
- Suite of APIs for opt in, jackpot contributions, wallet and debit credits
- Customisable win animations provided for the operator to use
- Highly configurable including jackpot RTP, initial seeding and reseeding
- Financial reporting for the operator provided including jackpot contributions, jackpot winners and re-seed amounts for new instances of jackpots
- PrizeFlex is certified for multiple regulated markets including UK, Sweden and Brazil
Impact
The jackpot offered across LeoVegas brands is one of the biggest in the industry, PrizeFlex continues to power this and created an additional revenue stream for Push Gaming, to date over 2 billion jackpot contributions have been processed.
